Good luck!
1) Startup Lab: sustainable solutions
5th December – First year students from Coventry University’s MSc International Project Management programme at Stellum International Paris ran the first ever Stellum Startup Lab at five Coventry University RenaSup centres in France.
Annecy Cazeau, Sabrina Affreingue and Bilel Garaa came to Perpignan to lead the 15 students enrolled on the BA(Hons) Global Marketing programme at Bon Secours Campus through a series of workshops designed to help them find sustainable solutions to environmental issues.
Through exchange, communication and collaboration, the students transformed intimidating, global problems such as water shortage, over-consumption, food waste and over-fishing into specific, actionable objectives. They then developed innovative solutions to address these.
In just 6 hours, the students produced viable startup concepts.
2) Pitching and decisions
6th December – After just 6 hours of working on these issues, the B.A. students pitched their solutions to students enrolled on the BTS Commerce International.
The pitch had to last no more than 3 minutes but effectively communicate the key values and objectives of their concept.
After putting the 4 ideas to the student vote, MealMatch came out victorious. Created by Karim Mohamed, Jade Carcenac and Ihsane Id Rahou, this app facilitates food exchanges locally to tackle waste.
